Laini Saba Primary School started in 1992 as a rehabilitation and drop in center where street children who scavenged in the slums and the nearby Kenyatta market came in to have a meal, physical exercises and spiritual formation.

Laini Saba consists of nursery and primary sections. This year the school registered 426 pupils. Of the 426 pupils , 20% are total orphans, 60% come from single parent family and the rest are from poor families. The school embraces children from all religions and tribes and also from different countries. Both parents and guardians appreciate the physical, intellectual, spiritual, social, moral formation and the homely atmosphere that the school offers to their children. The school has its vision, mission objectives and philosophy as stated below.

Vision: To improve the living standards of Kibera community through holistic and quality education of the young people.

Mission: Uplifting the living standards of Kibera community through provision of holistic and quality education to the orphans, vulnerable and disadvantaged children of Kibera and its environs.

Objective: To impart knowledge and skills that will enhance integral growth, instill and uplift respect, responsibility and dignity of a human person.

Our Philosophy: we believe in an education system that reduces vulnerability, builds the children's faculties and empowers them to approach life with confidence and hope.

Eligibility: The school is fully registered as private school sponsored by Christ the King Catholic Parish. It offers strictly 8-4-4 curriculum approved by the ministry of Education.
