Women's Promotion Programme, Naoi, Karamoja

Women learning to make clothes There are four groups in different outstations. Each group meets once a week. They begin with Gospel sharing, which they have learnt to do and they share deeply.

The second part of the morning is spent on teaching things concerning home life: hygiene, women's rights, children's rights, etc. For an hour at the end of the morning, the women do sewing by hand of skirts and dresses.

Women learning to make clothes It is encouraging to see that the hygiene and cleanliness of those who attend the courses has greatly improved in their villages, in themselves and in their children. They act as multiplying factors teaching their neighbours to do the same.
